I know that you have always loved your bling and I think you still do. I think our son. Does he like it too? Yes, he does. So what have you got for us today when it comes to dribbling my love dribbling? It is the part where you get to be an artist and you get to show your skills you get to decide with. What’S going to happen with the ball, I love the individual part of the game. I love seeing the individual succeed and Thrive, and in dribbling it’s no different. I love seeing players who can take people on people who, I think of when I seen them build a dribble is like Neymar, Haji Cruyff, gigs, Mia, Hamm, Lloyd, there’s, Messi and Ronaldo. Of course, those guys they’re just beautiful watch, but I found that weight. Who do you think is the better dribbler between Messi he’s giving me the side-eye? He knows I’m going with this. He never wants to pick. Who do you think, is the better dribbler between Messi, and I know that you have to pick one and Y right now. It’S a messy because he still does it a lot Ronaldo.

This is this. Is this is going to bring up? Actually it’s funny. You say this right, but there’s two different types of dribbling right and I answered your question. I is messy right now, but Ronaldo his his role as change the score of the golden just driven to score goals and that’s what they want to do he’s not so much on the wing anymore, where he’s taking people on. But if you look in his career early on Ronaldo would do all the skills like step overs and move really quick Croix cut through and take shots and score goals. It was beautiful to see such skill haste technique. You saw all of it in one swift motion with Messy. He is not so tricky with his dribbling. He is changing direction and change of pace. That’S consistently. What he’s doing over and over again he’s constantly changing face changing direction, moving the ball, but he’s not really doing all these tricky face. The way he treats people is by faking like he’s, going to go one way and goes the other, so turn hip movements and acting like he’s going one way and cuts and cross goes across the their body and so there’s two different parts of dribbling, Tulsa Soccer Lessons and it’s Amazing to me to see how both work they both work equally. Well, you can be a slower player and have all these skills and movements that you can use in tricks up your sleeve and you can dribble and look like you’re moving just as fast as someone who’s using just hit fakes and change of direction and change of Pace and it’s amazing to me that we have two different ways of doing the same thing. You get the job either way it’s like watching. Pirlo dribble, the ball versus watching Ryan Giggs, run gigs and do a bunch of Step overs, and he did a lot of change of pace and a lot of body movement and in Hip courage in because if you are the one who’s, more Dynamic and quick-paced, and You know you want to move quickly and do your moves and you have high skill and your developing your Technique, that’s great, but not to worry. If you’re someone who may be does not have the quickest Pace, maybe you’re you’re more. You know, I don’t know what you call that, but just more steady or you have a slower Pace, but you can still develop and grow and show off your skills and techniques. So it’s about. I guess what you’re saying is. You can enhance whatever your natural skill-set. Maybe and develop that to a to a lot of spiders that are slower if there’s subtle, there are slight movements and fixed completely throw people off and they get much more time on the ball much more space and I’ve seen kids, who do some kids, just like Silky smooth with it when they move their hips, they turn and that played, as goes in, they cut back and they’re gone, and you know when they’re playing soccer and they’re doing a soccer lessons.

I see the time and time again that these these soccer players they start to learn how what works for them, what moves are best suited for their body type and how they need to play. If your quick and fast use your quickness and your speed Blow by the encourage Kids, all the Time use your speed, if you have it Blow by people, do a subtle hint, fake and move on and you’ll get you’ll get the work done, and you asked me A question earlier about, while oh, how I did so well in soccer or even though I didn’t strike the ball well, it’s because I can dribble very very well get down the line. I could cross the ball. Well, I’d hit the outside of ball and it would be exactly why I wanted to go so I had mastered crossing the ball, but just striking balls in certain ways. I didn’t Master emulator for me on the wings, so your goal was to get down the field and maybe cause an assist by you know, feeding them all to a striker. So I can it’s really important about your role and I know I’ve seen you work with soccer players and maybe they have a more steady or slower paced, and so you work with them on how to change that up. Maybe you have you know: here’s the moves or hear some skills that we can teach you that help you change up that pace, and then you get right back on your steady Rhythm and even with players who are very quick paste on the field, even teaching them. How to go slow at times and then change it back up and you no pick up your face, looks really interesting to me. The undulating kind of flow, the soccer game. Where there’s moments where it’s like breaking expeed, then it pulls back and flows down a little bit. You know, so we address all those things. I know you’re talking about dribbling today I wanted to ask you: you said you loved your bling. I know you still do and I know when our previous podcast we talked about David Beckham, and how his coach really discouraged him from doing Hollywood balls as he called them. Kids, David Beckham is somebody who naturally likes to strike or shoot that ball and he develop those skills. Tulsa Soccer Lessons But can you talk about dribbling, where you may be discouraged in that, and is that something that you just continue to work on because for soccer players who were listening, they might have a particular skill. They lover and natural inclination towards a certain move. And can you just speak to that what they should do with that, even if they’re discouraged and maybe how we can help?

I did experience, I had teammates and I’m, like you, know I’ll pass, but it’s going to be when I beat these players and I cross the ball and all you have to do is put in the back of the neck and to me I was very driven In that, my dad also helped me a lot. He spoke a lot of confidence into me. Signal from you said, just keep doing what you’re doing keep working on it and I did and the being a winner, you have to dribble the ball. There’S no other way. You know to, let me know if you can do one too, if you can do that, but for the majority of the can you have to take people out on the wings weather outside back Wing back or you’re a winner. You have to make sure that you are taking people on, and so I ignored all of that and I went after people. I got criticized. Sometimes four different things like a your head is down, but at different times when I was under pressure., I had to look at the wall sometimes, but I also use peripheral vision to see the field and I knew where players wear a salad play that ball and As time went on, I got better and could look up more and see the field see everything even more than I was seeing it before so there stages to everything is what I’m saying you just have to make sure you work on your skill and tell if You are being discouraged, keep going and we can help you with that. So if you are somebody who loves dribbling, if you are somebody he’s passionate about shooting the ball and if you need help with basic, you know skills basic unit, wrapping the Ball Juggling whatever your needs, maybe at pride of Tulsa soccer training.
