This is episode 125 and today, coach O’Neal is going to be talking about team building. I say it’s one of my favorite people. If we just talked about him not too long ago, she read it was his rinus Michels and he was as regarded as the one of the fathers of Total Football, and so he and Johan Cruyff. Together he was the coach, while Johan Cruyff was the captain of Netherlands and IX and together they helped to create a concept, call Total Football with nurse free-flowing movement and where players can interchange and play different positions, and he created this book called team-building road to success. And he had many factors he had about five factors that he contributed to having a successful team, and you know when your urine you’re, developing a soccer team, there’s so many different parts, because it’s a team sport there’s individual parts to it, and so each soccer player Has to bring something special to it, and so he said some of the factors that decide the limits of Team Tactical Team Building is the first one was individual qualities of the complete group of players. So when you think about all the players that you have, then you look at the individual qualities of each of the soccer players out there, I’m on the soccer field, you start to wonder: okay, how do I put the soccer place together? How do I put one in the right place and what how does that affect others around them, and how do I give a group of of soccer players that work well together and can function well as a unit like a defensive, uniform field, Yuna or Strikers and Winger’S that work together, and so you have to look at their individual skill, sets and see how to combine them into the right positions, and you know it’s also. You know that Pride soccer training we focus so much on the individual player and then also how they relate to their group of players that they work with so friends. Instead, we have a small side of game that we’re playing. We make sure that the individual is understanding when to pass when’s the Trap when to dribble what parts of the foot to use when they doing all these different activities, but then also, how do they work with the players around them? How do they when they pass? Where did they move to what are the passing Lanes if they get into how to be an unselfish player by the runs that you make not just by how you pass the ball, but are you making runs to support your teammates and then how does that affect The whole team, as you know, as a unit like now, because you’re running and making decisions and passing and moving and being selfish now your team holds the ball even longer and you can pout possess the other team and I don’t play them so that’s example: how The qualities of the individual help to create a good cohesive unit, because when you get the right players together with the right amount of skill, you have a very good unit and you know something that Haji said. You know one of his interviews EB talks about how you didn’t feel pressure and when I sat and thought about us, like you, didn’t feel pressured because it’s technical ability was so good and when you have strong technical ability of the soccer player, your confidence is going To soar, understanding you’re saying that, basically, when we create these customized Tulsa soccer lessons for our soccer players, the skills that they’re learning are one helping them grow and develop as an individual. You know soccer player, but then also what they’re learning and how they’re growing in their soccer skill that helps when they go back to their team collectively Elevate that entire team out about how does that work exactly well, as you become better as an individual you’re mine. Now becomes more free to think about. Okay, how do I make this run? How do I play this ball? Where do I apply? How do I support my teammates? Do I see if two and three steps ahead of the game as opposed to just what’s in front of me, and so, as you become more technically gifted your mind, is freed up to think about more things.

Then you become more of a student of the game. You become more dangerous as a player, and so when you add that into your team, your team can only get better because each individual battle on the field matters. So if you’re winning your battle on dominating it, then that means your team gets to to win in that area. The field that much more often – and so, if you add in LSA, you have like four five kids that are training over at Pride soccer training and they play on the same club team that club team is going to significantly improve because each player that comes to Pride soccer training only gets better, they only improved they, they always become better, and so, when you have a group coming to our training sessions that helps to bring out a better balance to the team and helps to bring out a better more skill to the team And it’s just beautiful to your energy and your ability is going to rub off and on WE, for example, coach, like you, said, multiple players on a team that just takes it like exponentially higher like you just get better faster, stronger quicker. You know. That’S right! That amplifies everything – I know we’re almost done here, so I’m just briefly like. Why is team building so important? I know we talked about an individual has two Conair scale. Why is that so important? You know in the game of soccer, because the game of soccer you’re only as strong as your weakest link and as the game goes on and kids get older and even better the game becomes more tactical, so they’re always looking for weaknesses out their coaches are looking For ways to exploit the other team, so if your team has 11 tactically and technically gifted players on it, it’s going to be very hard to find a weakness, and so it also helps you to be the team. That’S looking for the weakness and probing the other team until you find an open sky like I bring up this analogy of you go to your home and the doors are locked. Well, you knock on the front door, see if anybody’s home nobody answers. You can’t open the doors locked you go to the side, sleeper windows open, it’s not you, go to the backhoe, finally see sliding door. Tulsa Soccer Lessons You can open it and get into your house. Well, that’s the analogy of scoring a goal. That’S the analogy of breaking down in the fence. You keep probing the perimeter until you find an opening until you get that one chance and you go in you finish your goal and and you’re up and so and having incredible Tulsa soccer lessons it kind of. Has the key: that’s what gives you all the different options and moves and skill set to go to the different doors and knock?
