This quote is by Edson Arantes do Nascimento aka Pele. Pele is considered to be the greatest soccer player of all time.  Pele played professionally in Brazil for two decades and won three World Cups during his time there.  When it comes to soccer, Pele is considered to be a national treasure. Late in his career, he joined the New York Cosmos, and in 1999 Pele was named, FIFA Co-Player of the Century.  Pele shares the FIFA Co-Player of the Century Award with Diego Maradona.  Pele has many nicknames. He is known as The King of Football, The Black Pearl, The King, and The King Pele.  During the time Pele played, he was a creative goal scorer and all around proficient player.   Pele’s success is attributed to several factors: God-given talent, determination, drive, strong work ethic, and his love for the game.
